These notices provide information about what is currently happening in Wigtown Parish Church and
around. The Church of Scotland website provides regularly updated information at

1. This Sunday and next Sunday 27th October: 10 am Kirkcowan Parish Church, 11:30 am
Wigtown Parish Church. Led by our worship leaders. 11:30 am Wigtown Baptist Church. While
the minister is on holiday, pastoral cover Rev Stephen McGarva and Rev. Edward Lyons.
2. Monday: Drop-in, 10:30 am, Wigtown Parish Church Hall. Drop in for a cuppa and a chat. All
welcome.
Ninian Moment Noon, Sacred Heart Church.
3. Wednesday: Machars Churches Basics Food: Citizens Advice Clinics Fortnightly 10 am – Noon,
5 Albert Street, Newton Stewart.
Zoom Conversations 7:30 pm. Please ask for a link if you wish to take part.
4. Thursday 24th October: Choir Practice, 7 pm, Kirkcowan Parish Church.
Thursday 31st October: Choir Practice, 7 pm, Wigtown Parish Church.
5. Friday 1st November: Taize inspired worship, 6:30 pm, Community Hub, ‘Number 12’, Port
William.
6. Sunday 3rd November: Kirkcowan and Wigtown Parish Churches Communion Sunday.
7. Wigtown Parish Church Building Working Group: Ideas, please, on development of the Church
Building to the group. Floor plan at the back of the Church.
8. Machars Basics Bank: Whatever you can donate is gratefully received. Thank you for your
support. Volunteers needed to oversee shop and coffee area at 5 Albert St. Newton Stewart, also
to pack bags and deliver. Tel. 07874 934387.
